There are endless ways to explore New York City, but few of them are as delectable and unique as a Dessert Walking Tour. This two-hour jaunt will take you along an eating tour of Lower Manhattan and treat you to some pretty delicious delicacies along the way.
You’ll start your tour in Union Square before making your first stop at Baked by Melissa for a bite of their famous tie-dye cupcakes. It only gets better from there. You’ll stroll through Greenwich Village as hit up six different shops along the way ranging from bakeries to gelaterias.
Each shop will offer up one of the treats for you to sample, all of which are beloved by locals, and a couple will even let you design your own. A couple of highlights include Amorino for their milkshakes and waffles and Magnolia Bakery, which you might recognize from a little show called Sex and the City.
The tour itself is a great way to experience one of the most well-known areas of New York City while also putting a couple of extra inches around your waistline. With all the walking you’re sure to do on the tour, it’ll probably balance out, we think.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal.
