The no-frills waterproof gloves from Hanz offer everything you need to keep warm and stay dry while paddling, sailing, hunting or fishing in the rain or in wet conditions. These gloves are fairly straightforward in appearance: Don’t expect decorative elements, clips or touch screen compatibility. Still, they’ve got everything you’ll need to get the job done.
The gloves are constructed with a three-layer membrane that is incredibly lightweight, giving you maximum flexibility. The gloves are also outfitted with gripper dots on the underside, an important feature for myriad activities. They rate at warmth level H2, on the light side for cold weather protection but this is sufficient for most activities that take place above freezing.
Inside, the gloves are equipped with a moisture-wicking system that keeps your hands from overheating during high activity. And they’re made without seams, so chafing is nonexistent. The gloves come in small, medium, large and extra large, and the sizing chart provided by Hanz is incredibly accurate.
There’s also a generous wrist cuff to keep water from entering the glove, though it could be tighter on small arms. Still, this way the gloves don’t cut off circulation and are overall comfortable and perform well in a variety of situations.
