Ellis Island Hotel, Casino & Brewery is transforming The Front Yard’s, its restaurant, second floor into a tiki bar escape, The Island at Ellis, June 3–July 4. The all-day oasis will serve island and tropical favorites, like the teriyaki chicken burger and coconut shrimp. Ten island-themed specialty drinks will also be offered, some as individual cocktails and others in punch bowls for a crowd.
The Front Yard’s brunch and dinner menus will be available, with items including Stuffed Crunch Toast, Salmon and Lox Flatbread and Bacon Mac & Cheese. To add some Sin City flare, two blackjack tables and a variety of slots will be available in a lounge area by the Terrace Bar.
“We can’t wait for the launch of The Island at Ellis,” said Christina Ellis, director of marketing. “We have really enjoyed decorating and transforming the restaurant, and we knew now was the perfect time to take it to the next level.”
Beginning June 3, the Tiki Bar will be open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., and 4 p.m.–midnight. On Monday, the hours will be 10 a.m.–3 p.m., and 4–10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, the hours will be 4–10 p.m. Reservations are available via OpenTable. Best known for the homemade shakshuka dishes for two at $16, Café Ole also offers omelets, sandwiches, bagels and French toast.
