Situated within northern Israel’s landscape, Pereh Mountain Resort embodies natural chic with its 27 rooms and suites overlooking the mountains and valleys. Pereh, meaning “wild” in Hebrew, extends to every detail and design put into the property, from the pool to the gardens to the intimate spa.

Constructed on the ruins of the 20th-century French Custom House, Pereh Mountain Resort redefines boutique hotels through innovative approaches to leisure, nature and gastronomy. Maintaining the original edifices of the building, interior designers Dannah Leitersdorf and Tamara Glaser designed each of the indoor spaces throughout the resort, utilizing mostly local, natural resources like mineral plaster and the native basalt stone. Restoring the rooms and suites to look like the original structures, the spaces include centuries-old wooden floors, high ceilings and rounded stone walls.

In addition to an outdoor infinity pool with a hot tub and bar, Pereh Mountain Resort also features Rouge restaurant, helmed by chef Roee Dori. Each dish blends the best of local ingredients, with the restaurant’s seasonal menu highlighting the diversity of the region with a modern twist.
Unique to Pereh Mountain Resort is its wine cellar, boasting the best of local wines from the Galilee and Golan Heights region. The cellar also includes an in-house wine label bottled exclusively at the property. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 4:30–6 p.m., the in-house mixologist and sommelier host wine tastings for guests.

The resort’s spa offers guests an intimate experience with treatments like hot volcanic stone massages. These types of treatments use regional materials to concoct remedies, essential oils, therapeutic teas, soaps and ointments. Pereh Mountain Resort also offers guests event space for both indoor and outdoor meetings and events, from business conventions to weddings.
