Founded in 1939 in Oregon, Gerber Legendary Blades produces quality knives and multitools, often in collaboration with custom knife makers and designers. Bear Grylls even designed a line of products with Gerber. You can rely on the strength and functionality of the knives in everyday life, while camping or in a combat situation.
The Strongarm Fixed Blade by Gerber slices through rope, fruits, vegetables, meats, papers and wood. You could even shave with it. In an emergency situation, the knife breaks glass. During a fishing trip, use the knife to cut fishing line and prepare the catch of the day. It has so many uses.
Gerber includes a useful sheath with the Strongarm knife. It holds the knife in place and can clip onto your belt or bag for easy carrying. The sheath also clips onto MOLLE straps. Thumb pads on both sides of the handle prevent your hand from slipping and being cut by the blade.
Gerber wraps a full 420HC steel blade with a rubberized diamond-textured grip. The blade measures 4.8 inches and the overall length measures 9.8 inches. It’s made in the United States and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The Gerber Strongarm Fixed Blade comes in different colors and retails for $86.
