Gwyneth Paltrow might be many things — actress, Hollywood royalty and even country singer — but her main focus in recent years has been on her Goop brand, dispensing lifestyle advice in enticing weekly posts. Paltrow’s commitment to living organic is showcased throughout her website (and in her lean figure), so the recent launch of her natural skincare brand wasn’t entirely a surprise, but welcome news for those looking for “clean” beauty products.
The lifestyle guru collaborated with Juice Beauty, a California-based company with a focus on non-toxic products, for her own line of six carefully formulated skincare products that use natural ingredients like aloe, appl, and grape juices to create a glow from inside out, Vitamin C for sun spots and hyaluronic acid to smooth fine lines.
The six products are Luminous Melting Cleanser ($90), a blend of coconut, almond, and olive oils; Exfoliating Instant Facial ($125), with B5; Enriching Face Oil ($110), with 99 percent organic content; Revitalizing Day Moisturizer ($100), with linseed extracts and Vitamins C and E; Replenishing Night Cream ($140), with sandalwood nut oil to help with skin elasticity; and Perfecting Eye Cream ($90). Ease into the product line with the travel-perfect Discovery Set ($125), which includes .5-fluid-ounce samples of the moisturizer, night cream and instant facial, and .3 fluid ounces of the enriching face oil.
