Summer is coming to an end and the lineup for television this fall is filled with good shows, both new and returning. There’s something relaxing about winding down the day with a good TV show after work. Curling up on the couch with a cup of tea or a bowl of popcorn is the perfect way to enjoy an episode of a show. No matter what genre you’re interested in, there are plenty of options this upcoming season.

On Sept. 18, everyone’s favorite horror show returns. This season is titled American Horror Story: 1984. What is known so far is AHS regular Evan Peters will not return for the season. The intensity of the shows affected his personal life and he needs time away to regroup. This season is paying homage to slasher films and will feature 80s-themed clothes and music.

Another highly anticipated show this fall is Batwoman, which will premiere this October on the CW. The title character will be played by actress Ruby Rose. She is described as an out lesbian and a highly trained street fighter ready to snuff out Gotham’s criminals. The show is sure to be a hit with fans of Ruby Rose, who grew a large fan base during her time on hit TV show Orange is the New Black, and with fans of Batman who are craving for the universe to be expanded. Fans are waiting on the edge of their seats to see for themselves if this is going to be a good TV show and reflect the quality of the comics.
