No Time To Die, the newest James Bond film to hit movie theaters worldwide, is Daniel Craig’s last time suiting up as 007. Two Florida hotels are celebrating the new film, connecting to the series as a few of the James Bond flicks were filmed in the state.
Now, thanks to Shelborne South Beach and Marker Key West Harbor Resort, travelers can enjoy over-the-top experiences and step into 007’s shoes.
Shelborne South Beach was once home of Vesper, a Bond-themed cocktail bar. In 1964, Goldfinger filmed some scenes in South Beach, and elements from Miami Beach can be found in 1988’s License to Kill. Today, the hotel’s The Vesper overnight package allows guests to feel like James Bond for a day, and includes a custom suit with a personal shopper in Miami’s design district; a luxury car by Miami Exotic Car Rentals; a Vesper Martini Mixology Kit in room; Casino Night + Limited Edition Blackwell Rum in room; and a golden dessert. The package is only available by request.
License to Kill, the 16th James Bond movie, was partially filmed in Key West in 1989. Iconic Key West spots, like The Ernest Hemingway House, U.S. Coast Guard Pier and more, can be spotted in the movie. At Marker Key West Harbor Hotel, guests get the James Bond experience with a package including a boating excursion with luxury charter; Tom Ford FT108 Sunglasses; Blackwell Rum in room; and star gazing via a telescope.
