Health & Wellness

Coined as America’s Sweetest Race, the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k entices runners to work harder and run to the finish line faster with a chocolate feast as the after-party.

Each Hot Chocolate 15k/5k race offers both a 15k (9.3 miles) and 5k (3.1 miles) distance. After completing either option, runners of this delicious race can indulge their sweet tooth with a goodie bag filled with chocolate swag and an all-chocolate-themed post-race party.

Upon reaching the finish line, participants are ushered to a massive party complete with music, a family-friendly kid zone featuring bounce houses, games and finishers mugs filled with hot chocolate, chocolate fondue and tasty dip-able treats.

Not only is the race delicious, it’s also charitable, with Ronald McDonald House Charities as the official charity partner. The RMHC program offers a “home-away-from-home” for families and children facing a serious medical crisis so they can stay near their hospital at little or no cost.

Those interested in running for chocolate can participate in events all over the country this year, including Denver, Chicago, Columbus, Scottsdale, St. Louis, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, Seattle, San Diego, Philadelphia and Minneapolis.
