Tips / Safety

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, health and safety are at the forefront of everyone’s mind, but when the world finally resumes some sense of normalcy and travel can resume, staying healthy should still be a priority. Check out our tips for keeping your immunities up during your next trip.

Lack of sleep can do a number on your immune system so no matter how hectic your travel schedule is, be sure to build enough time into your trip to get your zzz’s.

When it comes to eating, it’s okay to indulge in some vacation treats once in a while, but we have a tendency to completely forego our diets when we are on the road. Unfortunately, overdoing it with sweets and junk food can do a number on your system, leaving you vulnerable to germs and illness.

Keep your body running at optimal levels by boosting your immune system before and during your trip. Probiotics are a great way to keep your gut healthy and regular while vitamins and supplements can help give your immune system a fighting chance if you are potentially exposed to bugs and germs.

Don’t rely on others when it comes to cleanliness of your personal space. While airlines work hard to keep planes clean and sanitary, planes work on quick turnaround times, which means there isn’t enough time to disinfect the seats in between flights. Your tray table is a hot bed of germs, so either bring a travel pack of disinfectant wipes to clean your space or don’t touch it during your flight.
