When wine comes to mind, it usually does so in the form of regular grape wine. Depending on where you go, though, other kinds of wine can blow you away.

Quebec is home to a tradition of making delicious maple wines. It isn’t too far a leap to come up with what maple is at its base. Maple wine is fermented maple syrup. If this doesn’t entice you into trying, there probably isn’t much that can.

According to thebacklabel.com, the original maple wines from British Columbia blended various Merlots, Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays with maple syrup. Recently, winemakers in Canada have been putting out pure maple wine.

If you want a taste of the original maple wine, check out Lang Vineyards. This winemaker in British Columbia originated the maple wine and still sells the wine to this day. You can get a gift box online. The original wine, according to the vineyard, is a blend of maple syrup and Pinot Noir. The vineyard suggests pairing the wine with dessert, specifically with vanilla ice cream and walnuts or a fruit salad.

The vineyard also sells blends of maple syrup and white wines, namely Chardonnay.

Maple wine is also popular with home brewers who enjoy dabbling in mead.

Platform Helps Remote Workers, Business Travelers Find Work-Friendly Hotels

If you’ve ever attempted to work on the go — not necessarily for a business trip, but just because your job offers the flexibility of remote working — you may have struggled with working from your hotel room. Your options are typically plugging your laptop in next to a tiny in-room table, if you’re lucky, or you’re stuck answering emails from your hotel bed — hardly conducive to productivity.
