Destinations

Do you feel lucky? Experts at OnlineCasino, the online casino guide, conducted research on the most searched-for casinos around the world. The team analyzed Google searches of some of the most popular worldwide casinos per month to determine the ranking. The search consists of only the casino, and not any hotels that may be connected to them.

Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut took the top spot hands down, with 91,000 monthly searches compared to second-place Casino Baden-Baden, Germany’s oldest casino, with 22,000 monthly searches. Foxwoods Casino spans 344,000 square feet and boasts more than 5,500 slot machines and 250 gaming tables. Casino Lisboa and WinStar World Casino tied for third place, with 13,000 monthly searches each. Casino Lisboa opened in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2006. WinStar World Casino in Oklahoma is the largest casino in the United States, at 370,000 square feet and more than 8,600 electronic games, 100 table games and a 55-table poker room.

The top 10 most popular casinos in the world are:

  1. Foxwoods Casino, Connecticut, United States
  2. Casino Baden-Baden, Germany
  3. (TIE) Casino Lisboa, Portugal and WinStar World Casino, Oklahoma, United States
