Restaurant

For a casual bite to eat, nothing beats Native Foods Café. Since 1994, this “vegan fast food” restaurant has been providing delicious food to Californians. Unlike other health food restaurants, Native Foods does not skimp on flavor; their tasty and inventive dishes please both omnivores and vegans.

Native Foods expanded from their original Palm Springs location to Colorado, Oregon and Washington, D.C. Menus very by location so be sure to double check your favorite dish online before heading out. This summer’s seasonal specials include strawberry lemonade and the avocado crunch wrap. This entirely plant-based wrap features crispy coconut-battered avocados, mango slaw and jalapeño-cilantro dressing wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and served with fries.

Try their classic gluten-free Bangkok curry bowl. This hearty dish combines seared tofu steak, steamed veggies, kale and brown rice with coconut milk red curry, gomasio and cilantro.

Be sure to save room for dessert; these decadent selections are entirely vegan. Try the carrot caramel cupcake — a moist, dense carrot cake topped with a lightly sweetened caramel cream cheese frosting — or the gluten-free peanut butter parfait, which features creamy whipped peanut butter filling layered between bakery-fresh banana bread crumbles and chocolate chips.

Native Foods has an allergen-free menu and also serves beer and wine. Enjoy your next vegan dining experience at Native Foods.
