Destination

New Jersey boasts 130 miles of beautiful coastline from Sandy Hook to Cape May. For many in the tri-state area, going to the shore is an annual tradition. If you aren’t familiar with the Garden State’s beach offerings, choosing the right destination from the dozens of shore towns may be overwhelming.

Here’s our breakdown of the best beach towns New Jersey has to offer.

Avalon: There is no commercial boardwalk. It’s the perfect destination for families looking to rent a house for a peaceful summer beach vacation.

Stone Harbor: The town has a quiet, upscale atmosphere and is known for small boutique shops, restaurants and wildlife.
