You might know the Buffalo Bills are getting a new stadium this year, but there’s a lot more “new” going on in the city in 2026 worth your attention.

“2026 is a landmark year for Buffalo, as years of investment and community-led vision come to life in ways visitors will truly feel, from the waterfront to the arts to game day,” said Patrick Kaler, president and CEO, Visit Buffalo. “These openings showcase Buffalo at its most dynamic, with new reasons to return, stay longer and experience the city’s energy, creativity and pride.”

So, what should you prioritize?

Be sure to add a visit to newly imagined Ralph Wilson Park to your itinerary. The 100-acre urban park is one of the largest under development within the United States. It’s situated on Lake Erie, and the $250 million redesign includes a kayak launch, pedestrian bridge, amphitheater and more.

Then, Hispanic Heritage Cultural Center will debut this year, with its theater, museum and art gallery. Likewise, Historic Colored Musicians Club & Jazz Museum reopens after a six-year expansion effort, with an interactive museum and five new exhibits expected this fall.
