Osprey has always been an innovator when it comes to backpack design and the Atmos AG series is no exception. The AG 65 and AG 50 packs introduce a suspension system that wraps around your body snugly while no longer hindering your mobility.
You can do a headstand in these things and the packs will stay securely attached to your back. They’re also ventilated with space between you and the actual body of the pack so you don’t have to worry about annoying back sweat as you go. A continuous panel of mesh along the back of the pack and around the hips contours perfectly to your body, which allows you to move in any direction you wish.
The AG 65 is capable of holding between 30 to 50 pounds of gear while the AG 50 is suited for maximum loads between 24 and 40 pounds. They also both come in Absinthe Green, Cinnabar Red and Graphite Grey color options.
While the Atmos packs are designed specifically for men, Osprey also offers the Aura AG series for women with the same suspension and ventilation systems. The Aura packs are offered in Rainforest Green and Silver Streak at the moment.
The packs currently retail online for $229.95 for the AG 50 packs and $259.95 for the AG 65 packs. Learn more at ospreypacks.com.
