The days of packing your lunch in a sad sandwich bag are gone. Switch to the easy-to-use and environmentally friendly stasher containers. The first of its kind, these bags are self-sealing, airtight and non-plastic.
Stasher utilizes an airtight, pinch-press seal. The bags are safe for the freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The non-porous surface helps prevent bacterial growth. They are reusable, easy to clean and great for travel. You can even write messages directly on the bags with dry-erase markers. Or choose one of the styles outfitted with a design like outer space or monsters. Bags are available for purchase on the website, with expansion to retail locations in the coming months. Prices start at $11.99, for a sandwich-size bag. Two additional sizes will be available later this year.
Unlike plastic bags, material for stasher’s bags contains no petroleum, no PVC and no latex. Bags are made of 100 percent pure food-grade silicone, providing a great alternative to plastic containers.
