Poler Stuff’s line of outdoor-oriented clothing and gear thoroughly speaks the language of “Northwest chic.” The items are practically-minded but stylish, with an outdoors twist.

The Cedar Down Parka is a rare find: it’s a waterproof, hooded coat that is also incredibly warm, perfect for the damp chill of Northwest winter (and fall and spring). The down parka comes in black and moss, both of which are perfect for incorporating with any item in your closet, whether you’re headed to work or out to the mountains.

The jacket is constructed of 550 down and a waterproof, breathable shell, all of which hold up beautifully in miserable weather. Added bonuses include an interior wrist cuff, a cinching hood, a dual zipper and snaps up the front for added wind protection, and waist cinchers to tighten the jacket at the most flattering spot, the natural waist.

The jacket also sports a roomy interior pocket and exterior pockets with snapping flaps. Behind those are fleece-lined pockets for your hands that also zip if you need to throw in keys or a wallet. The jacket doesn’t have a designated hole for earbud wires, but that’s its only downside — and it’s minimal.

One downside to Poler Stuff’s clothing in general is there’s no sizing chart presented. It’s great there are so many items that are unisex, but without knowing just how those pieces are designed to fit, you may end up buying two before you find what you need. And shipping isn’t free on returns.
