When it comes to sleeping while on the go, you might have your work cut out for you. Beyond the unfamiliar hotel room or homestay, there’s an unfamiliar (and possibly uncomfortable) bed, and then all the noises you’re not accustomed to at home, too. From street noise to noises from adjacent hotel rooms, it can all make getting to sleep less than easy. The LectroFan Micro2, however, can help.

This small, portable sound machine is compact enough to fit into your carry-on or personal bag without taking up too much valuable space. When you’re ready to use it, simply place it on the nearest table and let it work its magic, with 11 customizable sleep sounds to help you fall asleep, including five digital fan sounds: four variations of white, pink and brown noise, as well as two ocean surf sounds.
When you’re not sleeping, you can connect the sound machine to your phone or other device via Bluetooth and use the machine as a speaker, whether you want to listen to some tunes or make calls, thanks to the built-in mic. Whatever your intended use, the machine’s battery lasts up to 40 hours when playing built-in sounds or up to 20 hours when playing via a Bluetooth connection.
