The book market is open everyday until 7 p.m., no matter the weather.
The Southbank Center Book Market is one of the only outdoor used bookshops located in southern England, and is still considered one of the best-kept secrets of London tourism. The books are fairly priced across all genres.
The aisles in the book market vary daily as books rotate out quickly. The market is just one of many facets to explore in Southbank. Southbank Center hosts countless exhibits and festivals throughout the year.
The market is nestled between several restaurants and cafes along the River Thames, perfect for shoppers to enjoy an espresso with their book purchase. Between browsing, visitors can catch a film at the BFI Southbank Theater.
