Coming this April, the scenic cliffs of Porto Ecrole, Italy, stands as the location of LA ROQQA & Isolotto Beach Club, a contemporary and classic Italian hotel set to redefine the coastal Italian getaway experience. This new property will offer an intimate experience with just 55 guestrooms and suites, a vibrant rooftop restaurant, and a chic beach club.
LA ROQQA & Isolotto Beach Club brings Italian design and 1960s dolce vita together in one place. Transformed over the last three years from its former iteration, the new hotel embraces colors characteristic of this seaside Italian destination. There’s even a private terrace boasting 360-degree views of Porto Ecrole.
Within the property, guests can indulge in good food and unparalleled views from the rooftop restaurant of Scirocco, where views over Porto Ecrole and Corsini Botanical Gardens await. Here, traditional Tuscan cuisine is served family-style using local and organic ingredients, each dish crafted by executive chef Francesco Ferretti. The hotel will also feature a mezzanine restaurant and a laidback drinks terrace.
April also sees the opening of Isolotto Beach Club, the property’s destination beach club located a short walk away in a secluded bay with views over the small island of Isolotto. Two beachside restaurants serving fresh and colorful dishes will grace the club, and guests can relax atop loungers and beneath umbrellas, a true coastal Italian vibe.
Located 1.5 hours from Rome and 2.5 hours from Florence by car, the under-the-radar destination of Porto Ecrole is a spot waiting to be discovered. From a Spanish-era fortress to cafés lining the cliffside to waterfront trattorias, Porto Ecrole is this year’s place to be.
