California’s mountains give visitors year-round access to outdoor adventure, but with the arrival of fall come even more reasons to start planning a trip. As the leaves begin to turn and the heat of summer wanes, Mammoth Mountain offers tempting early-bird specials that will keep a little extra spending money in your wallet while you take in the natural beauty of the season.
The Fall Magic Special lets you save 20 percent on weekend bookings for stays between now and Nov. 9 and 25 percent on weekday bookings during the same period. To take advantage of this early-bird special, you’ll have to book at least two nights at one of the four Mammoth Lodge Collection properties, which include the Mammoth Mountain Inn, Juniper Springs Resort and Village Lodge. This offer is also good on stays at the collection’s Mammoth Luxury Home Rentals, with a 15-percent off deal for a two-night stay.
Those looking for a winter mountain getaway will be happy to know Mammoth’s early-bird specials aren’t limited to accommodations. Planning ahead will pay off big time with savings on skiing during the upcoming winter season as well. This deal lets you score up to 80 percent in savings on lift tickets. Book by Nov. 13 and receive a single-day pass or multi-day lift tickets to let you and the family get the most out of the snowy slopes.

Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming.
