After the success of The Maidstone East Hampton, The Maidstone Hotel name has made its way to New Orleans with the opening of The Maidstone New Orleans. The brand marks the start of its growing collection with a new chapter in the South with the help of ISMD’s passion for turning historic boutique properties into modern-day stays.

Dating back to 1956, the property was known as The Crescent Motel, a classic American motor lodge. Now it’s been transformed into a vibrant oasis and retreat situated in the heart of NOLA’s Mid-City neighborhood.
The hotel has just 18 rooms and suites, including eight king rooms, eight queen rooms and two king suites, all newly renovated with cork flooring, custom birch millwork and furniture, and unique stained tones and hues. Guests will see custom moon tapestries fabricated by Oaxacan textile artist Ismael Gutierrez Montano in each accommodation, as well as custom built-in wardrobes, beds with Frette Linens, plush robes and much more.

Guests are invited to hang out in the lobby’s Maidstone Lounge before heading out for a night on the town. Sink into the built-in banquettes while enjoying craft cocktails and soaking up the welcoming environment.
Outside, the property’s gardens and grounds have been completely overhauled to create a space for guests to gather, lounge and indulge. Take a break from the Louisiana heat and swim in the saltwater pool or sunbath on the bathing deck. The Moon Garden features a sunken fire pit for gatherings, as well as craft cocktails and small bites.
