Celebrate the holidays at The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston. Throughout the month of December, the Houston hotel offers guests a selection of unique festive experiences.
Every Thursday–Sunday in December, excluding Christmas Eve and Day, the hotel hosts afternoon tea 1–4 p.m. at the on-site restaurant Bouchée. Indulge in Parisian-inspired treats for $60 per person. On Dec. 4, 11 and 18, guests are invited to the hotel lobby for live music, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails 4–6 p.m. Enjoy a special Sunday brunch menu at Bloom & Bee on Dec. 5, 12 and 26.
Take part in a holiday workshop on Dec. 5. Decorate gingerbread houses, enjoy live holiday music, listen to story time with Santa and dine on a variety of treats. There are morning and afternoon seatings available. Experience an extravagant six-course wine dinner at the property’s wine cellar on Dec. 6. The hotel hosts a family-friendly holiday market with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live music to enjoy while browsing the shops. The event runs on Dec. 12, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Bring the little ones to brunch with Santa on Dec. 18 and 19, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Held at Bloom & Bee, the brunch includes a festive three-course menu including dessert. Bloom & Bee offers special meals and menus for the rest of the holiday season with Christmas Day brunch, Christmas Day dinner, New Year’s Eve dinner and New Year’s Day brunch.
