The Singapore Grand Prix is one of Singapore’s greatest spectacles. Each year, thousands of spectators descend on the city to witness one of Formula 1’s most popular races. The city truly comes alive during one week in September, making it the perfect opportunity to pay this city-state a visit.
During the week of the Grand Prix, parties erupt all over the popular precincts of Joo Chiat and Kampong Glam. You’ll find some of the world’s most popular musical acts performing while every bar fills to capacity at night. Outside of the clubs, find festivities scattered throughout the city, from art shows to mini-races for the kids. As one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities on Earth, Singapore already has quite the reputation for throwing a giant party.
Some of the most popular parties include the official Formula 1 celebration at Amber Lounge each year, along with the continuously sold-out event at the The Podium Lounge, which holds up to 3,000 guests — including celebrities. You’ll also experience epic bar crawls, adrenaline pumping VR racing experiences, sailing events in the bay and raucous daytime music festivals.
Singapore has an incredible array of ethnic and cultural diversity within its limits and the Singapore Grand Prix is the perfect time to explore it all.
