The women’s Intermezzo Jacket is no exception. The lightweight jacket looks great for a trip to the gym or the airport, providing moderate warmth while also packing down. The stretchy poly-spandex knit fabric is extremely comfortable while flattering.

The wide mock collar and extended cuffs make for stylish flourishes welcome but not over the top. A hidden zipper stash pocket helps with the practicality of the garment, as does the UPF rating of 40+. Color options include an inky teal, a lovely dark blue and light ash, a mid-gray that goes with just about everything.

Overall, the sizing runs a little large. Other downsides are the sleeves are a little long for shorter women, and the long zipper doesn’t tend to lay flat on the sweater, rather creating a bulge near the midsection that isn’t too flattering. That’s a shame, as overall the jacket is well constructed and attractive — but this one downside makes it worth reconsidering at $89.
