Amusement parks are always fun, but at Halloween they pull out all the stops to decorate the parks and scare the living daylights out of their guests. Check out these great ones around the world that should be on your Halloween bucket list.
Europa-Park
This amusement park has the distinction of being the largest theme park in Germany. During the month of October the park is decked out in spider trees and more than 180,000 pumpkins. The park not only goes nuts with the decorations, but they have plenty of themed attractions, shows, exhibits and five haunted mazes.
Disneyland and Disneyworld
This one is a must for any Disney fanatic. Whether you visit the original SoCal location in Anaheim or head to Orlando for Disney World, these theme parks dress up from head to toe in decorations and Halloween themes. As per Disney tradition, you will see hints of Halloween in every nook and cranny of the park, including the Halloween-themed treats only available this time of year.
Universal Studios
With attractions like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Halloween is a no-brainer at Universal Studios. Regardless of which location you visit, themed Halloween Horror Nights offer terrifying haunted mazes after dark all month long.
Tivoli Gardens
This historic theme park in Denmark’s capital of Copenhagen is not only full of beautifully landscaped gardens, but also has an old-fashioned carnival feel to it. Jack O’Lanterns as far as the eye can see completely transform the gardens of the park into a nostalgic Halloween Town ever year in October.
