If you’ll be in The Windy City for the Thanksgiving holiday, check out these five great places to grab a Thanksgiving dinner that can hold its own against anything homemade.
David Burke’s Primehouse
This established Chicago steakhouse brings an excellent Thanksgiving menu to the table. It’s available all day long and it most definitely won’t keep you wanting. It’s only $65 for a four-course meal that includes tempting options such as pumpkin bisque, roasted turkey breast, mini apple pies and cranberry orange compote.
The Signature Room at the 95th
For Thanksgiving dinner with a view, head to The Signature Room at the 95th. Dinner includes Champagne, a chilled seafood buffet, soup, salad and your choice of turkey, scallops and lamb chops. If you can’t make it on Thanksgiving Day, a holiday brunch is available the day after.
Lockwood Restaurant & Bar
Lockwood Restaurant & Bar, located in the Palmer House Hilton, offers both a traditional buffet from 11 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and a four-course dinner for the rest of the evening. The four-course dinner includes heirloom carrot soup, an artisan green salad, roasted turkey and acorn squash, stuffing waffles and dessert from a pastry cart. If you have a large group or want to bring along the whole family, you can reserve a private room.
Acadia
This award-winning American cuisine restaurant hosts their Thanksgiving dinner from 1 –7 p.m. and offers an additional wine pairing for an extra cost. The adults’ menu includes chestnut soup, smoked pork belly, halibut, turkey and toffee apple cake. The kids’ menu is a little more whimsical, with mac n’ cheese, funnel cakes and popcorn ice cream.
NoMI
This elegant yet simple restaurant located inside Park Hyatt Chicago offers a gourmet buffet with five chef stations from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. The menu is extensive, including a variety of raw seafood, salads, artisanal meats and cheeses, traditional entrees and endless sides and desserts.
