April 7 marks the celebration of National Beer Day. It’s the perfect opportunity for beer lovers to hit the road and visit some of the country’s best and up-and-coming beer destinations. Add these cities to your beer road trip.
Chattanooga, Tennessee
Chattanooga’s beer scene grows by the day. Start your visit at Chattanooga’s oldest brewery, Chattanooga Brewing Company, or head to the city’s largest brewpub, Naked River Brewing Company. Visit one of the city’s newest breweries, Five Wits Brewing Company.
Dutchess County, New York
Located a short 90-minute drive from New York City, Dutchess County is home to 19 breweries. Check out the award-winning King’s Court Brewing Company, Mill House Brewing Company and Zeus Brewing Company. For a unique experience, head to Sloop Brewing Company, housed in a former IBM semiconductor plant.

Huntington Beach, California
Try the new Surf City USA Barrel Trail. The trail offers visitors an easy-to-follow route of 12 local breweries and distilleries. Earn prizes as you check in to participating locations. One lucky winner who visits all 12 locations by April 30 will be entered to win a one-night stay for two at Kimpton Shorebreak.
Jacksonville, Florida
The city started with a single brewery in 2008, and now is home to more than 20 breweries. Visit breweries at your own pace on the self-guided Jax Ale Trail. Beer lovers can win prizes through its Brewery Passport, where purchases add up for prize redemption.
Loudoun County, Virginia
While Loudoun County may be closely associated with wine, the region is home to more than 30 craft breweries. The LoCo Ale Trail offers unique brews in picturesque locations from a mountain-top beerhall to a tasting room on a farm.
