Top Trends

Kayak.com has served as a comprehensive travel search engine for millions of travelers through the past decade. The site’s ability to locate the best rates for flights, hotels and vehicle rentals has boosted its popularity as a one-stop travel information source. Now, Kayak is making things even easier by launching Travel Hacker, a system that collects search data from past site visitors and advertises the most-searched-for locations, beaches and deals.

Planning a European vacation but can’t decide between Vienna and Venice? Travel Hacker conveys the popularity of searches and the locations that currently provide the best prices including the median price of airfare, pricing trends during the past year and conveniently placed Hacker Tips that clue you into inexpensive activities in your city of interest.

Travel Hacker also compiles a list of travel tips based on global region of travel. For example, if you’re planning a trip to North America, Travel Hacker displays the median airfare price from your destination of origin, the days of the week with the lowest airfare and suggests how far in advance you should book your flight.

Travelers who like to follow the travel trends and receive a quick snapshot of their trip costs will love the ease and speed of Travel Hacker.
