Tucson, Arizona, just launched a new Astro Trail, highlighting some of the best spots in and around the area for stargazing. The trail, now available as a web app and printed guide, takes you to all of the dark sky-related stops in Tucson, including world-class astronomy institutes like Kitt Peak National Observatory and Richard F. Caris Mirror Lab, where the largest telescope lenses in the world are made.

Kitt Peak National Observatory, on Tohono O’odham Nation, is home to one of the largest arrays of optical and radio telescopes in the world. Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium sits on University of Arizona’s campus, inviting visitors of all ages to discover the world of science. Other stops include Steward Observatory, Saguaro National Park East & West Districts, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Oracle State Park, and Pima Air & Space Museum.

Download the mobile passport on your phone to receive access to curated attractions, retailers, restaurants and more, offering deals and discounts to redeem during your visit. Your passport will be delivered to your phone via text and email, ready to be saved to your phone’s home screen.
