Have you ever been out of food at home or just not in the mood to cook or drive to pick up food? Many people have experienced this dilemma and, as a result, Uber launched UberEats. Now you can download the UberEats app, order from a local restaurant and a driver will deliver the food to your door.

Numerous local restaurants joined UberEats, including McDonalds. Establishments that did not previously offer take-out can now be delivered to your door. With so many choices, the app has made anything you’re craving available. Delivery time averages around 35 minutes, probably less time than it would take to go pick it up and come back.

So how much does this delivery service cost? You’ll be charged the price of the food, tax and a delivery fee via your Uber account. Uber states there’s no need to tip. UberEats allows you to track your order and communicate with the driver if necessary.

More than 5 million users downloaded UberEats, demonstrating the success of this innovative modernization of delivery. A tip if you’re hungry on the way home and don’t feel like stopping, just place your order en route and the food will arrive right when you do.
