The Udee Backpack on Kickstarter

I’ve written about a number of businesses that have either begun thanks to Kickstarter or are truly looking at ways to innovate and improve the world we live in through technology. I’ve recently received a prototype of a new backpack that is attractive and resembles a Swiss Army Knife. That’s not to say the backpack is all red, just that it’s quite rich in features.

The backpack comes with a couple of rechargeable batteries that allow you to charge your laptop, phone and other devices as well as power a portable cooler, a series of LED safety lights and an anti-theft system.

This attractive black/grey bag also features reflective strips for crossing the street or presumably biking, while also offering specific pockets for just about anything the modern road warrior carries, including laptops, tablets, phones, DSLR cameras, passport, pens and a security pocket I couldn’t find for a week.

Unfortunately, they’ve yet to begin a Kickstarter campaign, but I will update this article as soon as they do. I’m traveling Mexico City with the bag and love it.
