Have you ever been in the middle of a long flight and wished you could just whip out a few items from your own personal minibar and mix up a drink right there in your seat? Well, now you can thanks to UncommonGoods, the people who make all the things you want but didn’t know you needed. They’ve developed the Old Fashioned Carry-On Cocktail Kit, similar to their many other liquor-inspired gifts, only smaller, easier and less time-consuming.

Measuring only a little more than four by three inches, this little tin will slip right into your carry-on without a bit of trouble in security. Open it up, and you’ve got your own linen coaster, bitters, cane sugar and minibar spoon/muddler. They’ve even included a small instruction card in case you’ve never made your own Old Fashioned before. All you have to do is order a mini bottle of rye during your flight, throw in the sugar, a few dashes of bitters, give it a good stir and you’re good to go. The design of the tin itself has a vintage flight look and would make a great gift for anyone who likes either travel or mixology. The kit is $24 and can be purchased online on the UncommonGoods webpage.
