To celebrate Wrexham AFC’s recent promotion to League One, United Airlines just debuted limited-edition Wrexham AFC amenity kits and pajamas. The Welsh football team, co-owned by actor Ryan Reynolds, continues to grow in global popularity, particularly following the Emmy award-winning show, FX’s Welcome to Wrexham, on Hulu.
As of June 1, travelers flying in United’s premium cabins on long-haul international routes will receive complimentary Wrexham AFC-inspired amenity kits. Inside every amenity kit, passengers will find a United-exclusive Therabody hand cream, lip balm and cleansing towelette. The kit also features a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, ear plugs and socks. Additionally, inside every United Polaris kit, passengers will also find a Therabody eye serum, face spray, tissues and a United pen.
United Polaris customers on flights 14 hours or longer will also receive pajamas designed to resemble the team’s uniform, of which United Airlines is a front-of-jersey sponsor. The pajamas include a long-sleeved Wrexham red shirt and gray pants.
“With our amenity kits, we always aim to provide customers with products that make their travel journey more comfortable as well as create one-of-a-kind keepsakes for them to enjoy well beyond their flight,” said Peter Wolkowski, director of Onboard Product Design, United Airlines. “Wrexham’s story is one that has been documented and celebrated these last few years, so we’re thrilled to now give United customers team-branded gear they won’t be able to find anywhere else.”
United Airlines is in its second year partnering with Wrexham AFC.
