Looking for a great place to stay and don’t have time to sift through dozens of hotel and resort reviews online? Yelp did the hard work for you, compiling the top 100 places to stay in the United States based on factors such as volume and ratings of reviews over the last five years. While you can find the full list of 100 hotels and resorts on the Yelp website, here are just a few of the highlights.
Garden of the Gods Resort and Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado, takes the top spot. The wellness-focused resort consistently wins awards for its accommodations and spa, including being named part of TripAdvisor’s top 10 percent of hotels worldwide in 2022, and a 2021 USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice Winner across five categories.
Up second is Olea Hotel in Glen Ellen, California. The Sonoma Valley property caters to wine enthusiasts in a boutique hotel setting, surrounded by oak and olive trees with views of the valley.
In third place, FivePine Lodge & Conference Center in Sisters, Oregon, is known as a romantic getaway for those seeking a more rustic escape.
When announcing the list of top 100 hotels, Tara Lewis, trend expert, Yelp, said, “Just in time for summer travel season, this list of top hotels across the United States has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for an under-the-radar spot for a trip with friends, a quiet family vacation surrounded by nature or a romantic hideaway near the beach, you’ll find accommodations at a variety of price points. With hidden gems highlighted all the way from Leavenworth, Washington to Woodstock, Vermont, you might just find a new favorite destination.”
