There is a constant stream of new bags on Kickstarter, but the Ghostek NRG has a clever twist designed for long-term hiking and camping. The bag has an integrated solar panel and a battery pack which allows you to charge your electronic devices without a connection to the mains. No matter where you are, simply leave the solar panels exposed to the light and you will be able to keep your laptop, camera and phone juiced on the move.
Leave the solar panel attached to the outside of the pack as you walk around so it can charge the 16,000Ah battery bank. Connect multiple devices on the move using internal and external USB ports, meaning you can use your phone to navigate while it charges.
Aside from the tech features, the pack can hold 60 liters of stuff and is made from water-resistant nylon. From the outside it looks like a well-designed backpack for hiking, with the tech safely stowed away. This means unless you have the solar panel out, no one will know your bag is packed with technology.
