Luxury travel amenities have never been as accessible as they are today, and not only for luxury travelers, but also for budget travelers. NOMI, an on-demand beauty service, now offers the option for travelers to request their services from the comfort of their own hotel rooms. With a quick phone call to the front desk or a few swipes on NOMI’s mobile app, your own personal beautician will arrive at your hotel door.
To use NOMI’s services, hotel guests can browse NOMI’s lookbook to get ideas for hairstyles and makeup options. Hair stylists and makeup artists will arrive at your hotel room at the agreed-upon time and provide a brief consultation to confirm the style you want. Once the stylist is finished, clients can either pay NOMI directly using a credit card or they can charge the service to their hotel room.
Prices range from a blowout for $95 to an updo for $115, or makeup application for $105. These are base prices and do not include the 20 percent gratuity or tax. NOMI also offers makeup classes for one person ($200) or two people ($300).
NOM’s services are currently only available at five New York–based hotels including Refinery Hotel, The Quin Hotel, InterContinental Hotel in Times Square, WestHouse Hotel and the The Knickerbocker Hotel. NOMI accepts suggestions from clients regarding which hotels they should partner with in the future.
