Big White’s south-facing mountain is often sun drenched and balmy, with views that open to the surrounding mountains. The village is connected by a gondola that runs through its center, offering a fun — and scenic — way to get from your hotel to the ski runs.

Big White’s electronic lift ticket system is a convenient and fast way to maximize your time on the slopes. Simply place your card in an outer pocket — and away from a cell phone. The system speeds up what’s already likely to be short lift lines, as Big White never feels crowded, even during holiday breaks.
To take a break from skiing or try something new, the resort offers a range of activities, all of which are kid friendly: tubing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice climbing, ice skating and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
