Vegas offers a spectacular nightlife, but when summer hits, pool party season on the Strip kicks off in high style. These daytime hot spots are the perfect places to don your best bikini, throw back a few cocktails and lounge about on your favorite float.
Wet Republic at MGM Grand
This hot spot received an extensive renovation just a few years ago, adding a new DJ booth, upgraded LED displays, bars and furnishings, including VIP bungalows with private plunge pools. Open 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Friday through Sunday, you can find some of your favorite DJs this season, ranging from Lil Jon and Kaskade to Zedd and Calvin Harris.
TAO Beach at the Venetian
Pick from 12 luxury cabanas, as you enjoy upscale amenities like poolside massages and staff on hand just to clean your sunglasses. The 18,000-square-foot venue also includes plenty of day beds, as well as an extensive bar (and the bottle service isn’t terribly priced). Open Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., performers on the roster include DJ Mustard and French Montana.
Bare at the Mirage
A topless pool open Thursday through Monday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m., the Mirage provides its guests with the utmost in intimate luxury, with a more private pool than others, private day beds and boat beds. The lineup of performers might not be as recognizable, but the luxury amenities more than make up for the less famous faces at the turntables. For a little extra, you can enjoy small details that go a long way, like chilled towels and frozen tropical fruits served fresh.
Encore Beach Club at Wynn Encore
The extensive pool complex consists of three tiered pools, water features, daybeds that double as lily pads, more than two dozen cabanas and two-story bungalows with views of the Las Vegas Strip (the bungalows come with hot tubs, showers and more). Open Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m., the club features upcoming performers such as Kygo, The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, David Guetto, Diplo, Major Lazer, Marshmello and others you’ve likely heard on the radio this summer.
Daylight at Mandalay Bay
A relatively new beach club, Daylight is a chic venue located right on the Strip. Expect to hear your favorite Top 40 tunes and a mixture of house and hip hop. Stop by on Thursdays for Rosé All Day, or a LIT Sunday, for the hottest music acts. VIP tables include a private cabana or daybed with a dedicated server, bottle of your choice and an array of mixers.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia.
