Next, walk next door and up the ramp to Johnny Mercer’s Pier. Whether you are looking for a romantic spot to take a few pictures for the photo album, or simply a calm place to drop your fishing line, the pier is a place that everyone can enjoy.
One of the best dining locations at Wrightsville is the South Beach Grill. This beachside restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating offers exceptional dishes like the shrimp and grits in Asiago cream sauce for $12.95.
Finally, at the day’s end, do what you came to the beach to do. Walk along the sandy shores, and under the different piers, with your friends, family and loved ones, and watch the sun set.
