Tips / Travel

Traveling with a baby is no easy task. There’s diaper changing, feeding, crying and a seemingly endless amounts of naptimes to contend with. Here are a few items to bring along that’ll make the trip easier for everyone.

Portable DVD Player

Keeping a baby entertained is one of the most challenging tasks when traveling. Pack a DVD player with your tot’s favorite shows and movies and hopefully score yourself a few peaceful hours to rest.

Changing Pads

You never know where your baby is going to poop. You’ve got to be ready to plop her down in a moment’s notice and tidy up the area. That’s why disposable changing pads are a necessity; you can use them anywhere from airplanes to hotel rooms to the backseat of a car.

Plastic Bags

What do you plan on doing with that dirty diaper once it’s full, exactly? The trash bins on planes fill up quickly. Plastic bags, like the kind you get from the grocery store, are great to pack along so you can store dirty diapers, soiled clothes and leftovers from lunch.

Nightlight

Babies are notorious for hating to sleep in the dark. You can’t exactly bring along a mobile, but you’ll want to create a little light at least to make her feel safe. A nightlight you can plug in to a hotel or guestroom can go a long way in helping her go to bed.
