Pop over to the Kitchen Mouse in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, for a whimsical breakfast, brunch or lunch. This modern restaurant offers a fresh take on vegetarian food and has plenty of gluten-free options.
Erica Dakings started Kitchen Mouse in her home kitchen almost four years ago and has grown to become a local gem. Kitchen Mouse Café officially opened in May of 2014 and plans to expand and keep bringing good food to more people. After all, their mission is “to eat and eat well.”
Be sure to visit for weekend brunch or stop by for a leisurely breakfast; their gluten-free pancakes, made with oat, buckwheat and corn flour and topped with Vermont maple syrup, berries and coconut, will make a morning person out of you. If savory is more your style, order the Romesco Tacos, with roasted Poblano potato mash, arugula and corn slaw, with smoky Romesco. Choose from a tasty selection of beverages such as the almond milk, vanilla bean house Chai or the vanilla maple sweetened hot chocolate.
Don’t forget to check out their daily specials and you may have just found your next favorite brunch spot.
