We’ve all been there: sat on top of a bulging suitcase that just won’t close no matter how hard we try. Now, Aroo released a new vacuum packer that will help over-packers squeeze more into their bags.
The universal adapter attaches to any vacuum seal bag currently on the market, whirring into life when you press the switch. It sucks the air out of your clothes, packing them tighter than ever and enabling you to finally close that zip.
Another bonus of the Aroo is the machine itself is tiny. At 125 x 75 x 40 millimeters, you can easily take it with you. After all, you’ll need to get everything home you took with you.
Of course, you will have to buy your own vacuum bags, but it’s worth it. It could make the difference between being able to go on your trip with carry-on luggage only, or having to pay extra to check in a bag.
In this way, systems like the Aroo pay for themselves quickly if you are a frequent flyer. The Aroo will retail for $75 following a Kickstarter campaign, with the first models shipping in July 2018.
