ARtscapes brings artwork to life through augmented reality. Whether you prefer Surrealist prints or vibrant pop art, iconic Impressionist works or abstract canvases, you can see it all in motion with ARtscapes’ initial 39, museum-quality art canvases and posters.

The first collection of 39 features an array of known and unknown prints, including a Van Gogh self portrait and a new take on Picasso.

Here’s how it works: You purchase one of the wall canvases or posters and hang it on your wall as normal (the canvases even come with hanging hardware, so there’s no scramble to find a few extra screws lying around the house). Then, download the ARtscapes free app and, once you scan the painting, you unlock 2-D and 3-D experiences.

Currently, ARtscapes are available on Kickstarter, and the app is available in the Apple App and Google Play stores as of this month.

As far as costs go, there are tons of options to fit any budget. If you’re on a tighter budget, you can get a 24-inch-by-24-inch or 24-inch-by-30-inch poster for $19; for a real deal, though, you can get three posters for $39. For a canvas, you can get a slightly smaller size for $89. The largest combination of prints available is a large, medium and small canvas for a bundled price of $399.

ARtscapes products are scheduled to ship in April. Currently, ARtscapes has 38 backers on Kickstarter, with $4,227 raised out of a $25,000 goal
