It’s no secret beer-themed tourism has taken the country (and world) by storm, so it should come as no surprise a new beer hotel soon will open its doors in the heartland of America. Columbus, Ohio, will serve as host to the nation’s next beer-focused travel experience: a hotel adjacent to a new BrewDog brewery.
Comprised of 30 guestrooms, visitors to the beer-infused resort will be able to reserve tables for beer-pairing meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and visit the spa for specialized treatments with moisturizing ingredients such as hops and malted barley.
All guestrooms will be outfitted with plumbing that will distribute cold, award-winning Punk IPA directly from the faucet, while suites will feature the IPA as well as a pipe that pours the beer into a tub, allowing guests to take a relaxing soak in the pale ale. Both standard rooms and suites will also house small beer refrigerators stocked with local brews.
The new on-site brewery will brew a new blend of BrewDog’s sour beer and will offer tours of the facility to hotel guests.
With an anticipated opening date of August, donors who donated $300,000 or more to the crowdfunding campaign for the hotel will receive first dibs when it comes to booking rooms.
