Most cities are home to a variety of breweries. If your dad is a beer-lover, check out Milwaukee, San Diego, Seattle, Denver or Portland for top-notch breweries. For barbecue fans, take your dad on a tour of popular barbecue cities like Austin, Kansas City, Memphis or Nashville.
For a more sentimental gift, book a trip to a destination with genealogical significance. This can range from a trip to your father’s birthplace, a country where his parents were born or to visit relatives in a new city or country. You can invite the entire family to make the experience even more memorable.
Not all dads enjoy, or physically can take, long trips. Instead, opt for an overnight camping trip in your local park or campground, or a daytrip to one of his favorite spots.
