Denver’s top retro-chic hotel The Curtis recently launched new programming to ensure guests feel comfortable while traveling and working remotely. Guests can book a stay and enjoy access to the Tech Corner.
The hotel’s Tech Corner offers a fully stocked meeting room as an office for remote workers or learners. The room includes office supplies, like a whiteboard, dry-erase markers, pens, paper, HDMI cables and more. Additionally, wired and wireless connections are available, with a conference phone and unlimited beverages and snacks.
A special package offers all the amenities of the Tech Corner for $100/day, in addition to the cost of an overnight guestroom.
And the cherry on top of the package? There’s a daily, 4:30 p.m. delivery of beer or wine to Tech Corner to help remote workers and learners (of age, of course) cheers and unwind after a hard-earned day of work.

Wake up feeling like a local at Lokal Hotel, located in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia, on 3rd Street. Take in the sounds of the busy, yet still fairly quiet street below and head next door to Café Ole for coffee and breakfast. This Moroccan café has arguably the best coffee in the area with an abundance of styles and rich, bold flavors. Best known for the homemade shakshuka dishes for two at $16, Café Ole also offers omelets, sandwiches, bagels and French toast.
On a recent trip to Charleston, my group and I decided to have dinner at Jackrabbit Filly. The restaurant serves new Chinese-American cuisine with a southern flair. We booked reservations as the popular spot fills up fast. Jackrabbit Filly opened in 2019 and has since appeared on numerous regional and national best-of lists.
