Embarking on a cruise is essentially akin to boarding a small island where all the amenities of home coalesce with all-you-can-eat buffets, endless entertainment and sporadic breaks from the action in the form of tropical islands. Carnival Cruise Line seeks to build upon their already impressive array of things to do by adding a ride that cannot be found on any other vessel.
In May 2016, the Carnival Vista ship will depart on its first voyage equipped with a new feature: a SkyRide. Passengers aboard will be able to cycle their way around the ship in cars that dangle from a suspended track. Riders can pedal up to 20 mph as they soar above the sea and enjoy views of the ship below and the miles upon miles of glittering blue sea.
Not only will the SkyRide provide incomparable views, riders will enjoy exercise as they cycle their way around the ship’s perimeter. The aerial attraction will feature 800 feet of suspended track and will join other attractions as part of the on-board outdoor activity park.
Guests can ride the SkyRide at no additional cost as admission to all on-board attractions is covered in the price for the journey.
