If you’ve ever wondered what you are meant to do with your luggage when you aren’t using it, the brains behind Neit might have your answer.
Millennials are increasingly living minimalist lifestyles, whether through choice or a lack of space imposed by high rent. Whichever is true in your case, you might not want to have to worry about where to store bulky pieces of luggage when you are at home.
Available in both check-in and carry-on size, Neit luggage is premium luggage that also happens to fold down for easy storage. In fact, the suitcases can be reduced to just 30 percent of their previous volume, saving you precious closet space when you aren’t on the road.
If foldable luggage is conjuring images of cardboard suitcases or plastic bags, you couldn’t be more wrong. Neit uses premium materials to make durable luggage you will be able to use for years to come.
Both models feature four wheels and have YKK Aquaseal zips for waterproofing. The hard outer casing will keep your stuff safe, as will a TSA-approved lock system. The outer case is made from durable polycarbonate and aircraft-grade aluminum. For those who are worried about baggage handlers sending their bags on a trip of their own, Neit luggage even features a GPS tracker so you’ll be able to be reunited with your essentials easily.
It’s an impressive list of features for luggage that folds down small enough to fit underneath most sofas. Neit Luggage complies with IATA standards and comes in a sleekly designed package that will turn heads in the airport. According to the company, the pattern is based on the armadillo shell, a unique design that suggests the hardiness of the luggage.
Neit says the smaller bag will retail for $450, while the check-in model will cost $550.
